(NEW YORK, NY – January 9, 2012) – In an announcement made public today, Senior VP Vince Rocco, has officially left his post with Halstead Property to join BLU Realty Group as a Managing Partner and head the opening of BLU Realty's second office at 120 Riverside Boulevard.

BLU Realty Group has experienced tremendous growth over the last two quarters, and business expansion was necessary. Armed with over a decade of experience selling over $90 million worth of real estate including new condo developments in New York City, Rocco has also established his own team of specialized agents, named The Rocco Group (TRG), which will support him in the opening of BLU Realty’s second office.

“A rapidly flourishing neighborhood with over 8.2 acres of land still under development, an office on Riverside Boulevard was imperative,” BLU stated. “The community’s scenic location and continuous growth (including five, both residential and mixed use buildings, a new public school and 3.4 acres of public space with connections to Riverside Park and the Hudson River) made it the ideal market for our new office.”

In addition to a new 2,000 square foot space and 12 seasoned agents, the Riverside Boulevard office, in partnership with MetLife Home Loans, will feature BLU Café by Tavalon Tea; a charming and much-needed neighborhood destination providing an array of premium teas, gourmet coffees and assortment of scrumptious bites.
